Algeria is participating in the 2025 International Food and Drinks Event (IFE) in London, scheduled for March 17 to 19. This participation showcases Algeria’s advancements in the food sector and aligns with the country’s economic diversification strategy.

The Algerian pavilion features nearly a dozen exhibitors from both public and private sectors, highlighting products increasingly recognised in international markets. Key participants include Tasdir, DCAS, SARL CATM, CEBON, Houkoul Al Janoub, and Saramel Ltd, which exclusively markets Algerian dates in London.

Exhibited products range from famous dates, olive oil, and honey to mineral waters, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables such as oranges, apples, tomatoes, and peppers, which are gaining popularity in Europe.

Nourredine Yazid, Algeria’s Ambassador to London, expressed enthusiasm over the vibrant participation at the event, noting the impressive turnout of visitors and industry professionals. He emphasised the significance of such events in promoting the Algerian brand and fostering new European partnerships.
