Everything But The Girl will perform live for the first time in 25 years at MOTH Club in London on April 6th and 7th, featuring a mix of their songs and solo work. Their recent album “Fuse” marked their return to music after a long hiatus. Both shows have sold out quickly.

The British duo Everything But The Girl has confirmed their first live shows in 25 years, scheduled for April 6th and 7th at London’s MOTH Club. The performances will combine acoustic and electronic elements, featuring both their classic songs and solo tracks, with Rex Horan accompanying them on double bass. The shows sold out quickly after being announced to their UK mailing list.

Their latest album, “Fuse”, released in 2023, is their first since 1999. Although they conducted a live session at the BBC in 2023, their last public performance took place in 2000 at the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Ben Watt commented on the duo’s reunion, “We loved making Fuse together in 2022, and we wanted to do something else.” Tracey Thorn added, “If the shows go well, we intend to do more.”

Everything But The Girl is set to return to the stage with two sold-out shows, marking a significant milestone after 25 years. Their recent album and enthusiasm for live music suggest they could continue performing if these shows are successful.
