Launching in March 2025 at Immerse LDN, the “Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition” will feature high-tech displays and artefacts endorsed by the Grand Egyptian Museum. Visitors can explore six galleries, experience a VR journey into the afterlife, and enjoy a film narrated by Howard Carter.

The immersive exhibition, “Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition,” will take place at Immerse LDN, located on the Excel London Waterfront, from March 2025. This event has received endorsement from the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo and is designed in collaboration with Egyptologists.

Covering six galleries, the exhibition includes Europe’s largest immersive video mapping room with 8-metre-high projections. Visitors will begin their experience in an infinity room featuring a walking Anubis and then explore stories of ancient Egyptian civilization through various replicas and artefacts.

A highlight of the experience is a 30-minute film narrated by Howard Carter, the archaeologist who discovered Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922. Additional attractions will include a virtual reality segment introducing the ‘Egyptian afterlife’, a hologram presentation, and an augmented reality walkthrough of the Valley of the Kings.

James Cassidy, president of FKP Scorpio Entertainment, remarked on the exhibition’s unique combination of history and modern technology, showcasing attractions like a 360-degree video projection and a VR experience.

The last time Tutankhamun’s treasures were displayed in London was during The Treasures of Tutankhamun exhibition at the British Museum in 1972, which became the most popular exhibition in the museum’s history, attracting over 1.6 million visitors.

The “Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition” promises a rich, immersive experience detailing ancient Egyptian civilization. Set to launch in March 2025, it features cutting-edge technology and collaborations with experts, indicating a notable return of Tutankhamun’s treasures to London after decades.
