The Retail Technology Show is moving from London Olympia to ExCel London on 2nd and 3rd April, expanding in space and expected visitors. Matt Bradley aims to invigorate the venue with a carnival theme, impressive speakers, and innovative technologies, fostering networking and industry discussions.
The Retail Technology Show (RTS) will move from London Olympia to ExCel London on 2nd and 3rd April, expanding to 16,000 sq m with an anticipated 450 exhibitors and 16,000 visitors. Director Matt Bradley believes this new venue offers the needed facilities to accommodate increasing demand and facilitate interaction among attendees.
Bradley highlights that ExCel’s improved infrastructure, like the operational Elizabeth Line and local amenities in Canary Wharf, will enrich the visitor experience. He aims to change the perception of ExCel, often deemed soulless, by infusing a carnival theme into the show, making it vibrant and engaging.
The RTS will feature stages named Wondrous, Magnificent, and Spectacular, immersing participants in a captivating carnival atmosphere. Bradley is committed to ensuring attendees feel like they are part of a lively event rather than just in an exhibition hall.
The show has matured significantly, boasting a strong advisory board and a high percentage of C-level speakers. Renowned figures like Archie Norman of M&S will share insights alongside innovative companies like Gymshark and TikTok Shop, attracting increased supplier participation and marketing engagement.
Bradley foresees impressive technology showcases, including exclusive innovations from France and AI suppliers from the US. He emphasises the value of networking and the excitement surrounding social events, especially The Big Party.
Key themes at the show will centre around AI technology, supply chain advancements, and sustainability, reflecting on industry challenges and discussions. Bradley credits the show’s success to bravery, belief, and the willingness to innovate, drawing inspiration from diverse events rather than traditional exhibitions.
As RTS approaches, excitement builds around what promises to be a remarkable showcase of retail technology and engagement.
The Retail Technology Show is poised for significant growth and transformation as it relocates to ExCel London, boasting a larger venue and an engaging carnival theme. With a stellar line-up of speakers and innovative technologies, the event aims to energise the retail sector and spark important discussions on current challenges and advancements. Matt Bradley’s vision for a vibrant, immersive experience sets the stage for an impactful industry gathering.
