The Ordway Center in St. Paul has announced an exciting 2025-26 season, highlighted by a production of “Sister Act,” which will run during the holiday period. This revival comes directly from London, where it received critical acclaim, and is part of a broader move to nearly double the number of Broadway musicals in the upcoming roster.

The new seven-show lineup features popular titles such as “Six,” “Spamalot,” “The Addams Family,” “The Notebook,” a musical adaptation of “Mrs. Doubtfire,” and the Tony-winning “Kimberly Akimbo.” The season is designed to appeal to a wide audience and enhance the Ordway’s reputation for engaging theatre.

The season opens with “The Addams Family,” running from September 30 to October 5, 2025, followed by “The Notebook” from November 18 to 30. The narrative focuses on young lovers overcoming obstacles, based on the novel and film with music by Ingrid Michaelson.

The highly anticipated “Sister Act,” featuring music by Alan Menken, will be performed from December 9, 2025, to January 4, 2026. It tells the story of a disco diva hiding out in a convent after witnessing a crime.

“Kimberly Akimbo,” exploring adolescence and its struggles, will run from February 24 to March 1, 2026, while “Mrs. Doubtfire,” directed by Jerry Zaks, is scheduled for March 17-22.

The season rounds off with “Six,” a pop musical about the wives of Henry VIII running from June 17-28, 2026. Additionally, Ordway will host concerts celebrating classic albums including the Rolling Stones and Eagles.
