The Bulgarian section of The London Book Fair 2025 was revealed at the Olympia exhibition centre on March 11, 2025. Vice President Iliana Iotova and Culture Minister Marian Bachev attended the unveiling, which celebrates Bulgaria’s second participation in this leading literary event, running from March 11 to 13.

Supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London, Bulgaria aims to highlight its vibrant national literature. Culture Minister Bachev described the effort as a vital mission, reflecting the nation’s literary talent and innovative ideas.

Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with Bulgarian authors, translators, and publishers, with meetings being held at both the Bulgarian Cultural Institute and Hatchards, the UK’s oldest bookshop. The event also featured a discussion between renowned author Zdravka Evtimova and translator Yana Ellis, moderated by BBC journalist Rosie Goldsmith.
