South Korea’s SM Entertainment is set to host its first European SM Town Live concert in 14 years at London’s Allianz Stadium, Twickenham. Dubbed “SM Town Live 2025 [The Culture, The Future],” this major K-pop event will feature 14 acts and celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary.

Notable performers include K-pop legends TVXQ! and Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, alongside popular groups such as Red Velvet, NCT 127, and Aespa. Other artists on the lineup include EXO members Suho and Chanyeol, NCT Dream, WayV, Riize, NCT Wish, and newcomers Hearts2Hearts and virtual idol Naevis, marketed as “SMTR25.”

Aespa is particularly well positioned, following their historic 2024 with the record-breaking single “Supernova” and their debut album “Armageddon.” NCT 127’s return to London will mark their first performance since their 2019 show at OVO Arena Wembley, where they achieved multiple Billboard 200 Top 5 albums and sold over 8 million albums globally.

The historic Allianz Stadium has previously hosted legends like The Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga, making it the first venue to host a K-pop concert of this magnitude. The London concert, scheduled for June 28, follows a successful Asian kickoff in Seoul that attracted 40,000 fans over two sold-out shows.

This concert forms part of a global tour including performances in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, commemorating SM Entertainment’s three decades of influence in the K-pop industry.

The SM Town Live concert in London represents a significant milestone in K-pop, showcasing top talent and celebrating 30 years of SM Entertainment. The participation of Aespa and NCT 127 highlights the genre’s growing prominence, while the prestigious venue adds to the concert’s historic value. This event is a crucial part of a global tour, continuing the momentum from a successful opening in Seoul.
